At Ibis Styles Port Macquarie our environmental aims are to reduce the hotel’s environmental footprint by implementing sustainable practices that minimise energy and water consumption, reduce waste sent to landfill, and protect the surrounding coastal environment, while maintaining exceptional guest experiences and progressing towards recognised environmental certification. Objectives include reduction in electricity consumption, reduction in overall hotel water consumption, reduction landfill by diverting waste to recycling and food waste initiatives, eliminate single use plastics in guest facing services and source majority of food and beverage products from local suppliers..
